What are you eating?

I spent Saturday morning working up an appetite on a raft in the upper Kings River--good thing, because I ate a big dinner Saturday night, prepared by The Cured Ham and friends.

For example:

That's handmade pasta stuffed with fresh ricotta and topped with garden basil, prosciutto de Parma and pine nuts. Then we ate ribeyes from three different cows: one that was grass-fed, one that was on a strict corn diet, and one that had been grass-fed but "finished" on corn.

Also served: home-cured salmon, chicken liver pâté, truffled potato chips, and bread pudding with praline sauce.

In other news, I'm on a diet.
