Angelo Fideo Mushrooms Pasta

This recipe won my vote at Fresno Art Museum's 11th annual Men Who Cook fundraiser. The creator, Adaniel Lepe-Camacho (aka "Mr. Natural") provided this and several other recipes to his fans; for that, I give him a quick plug—he's a Certified Natural Health Professional and herb specialist, and provides consultations and classes on holistic nutrition, aromatherapy, reflection and other natural techniques. 1 package pasta or Fideo
1 cup dehydrated mushrooms
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
1 cup asparagus, cut
5 garlic cloves, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
4 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
1 jar Alfredo sauce
2 drops rosemary and cilantro Essential Oil
Soy sauce
Dash of chipotle powder
Sea salt, black pepper and oregano to taste


Cook the pasta as instructed on its package. Saute the garlic, asparagus, green onions and mushrooms in the grape seed oil and soy sauce. Combine pasta, sauce, and Essential Oil. Top with mushroom mixture and cilantro.
