Favorite Cooked Salad Dressing

6 egg yolks
½ cup sugar
½ cup tarragon or other vinegar
1.5 tsp flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp mustard


Beat egg yolks slightly. Combine dry ingredients and mix with yolks. Add water and vinegar. Cook over low heat (about 4 or 5 min). Cool and store in a refrigerator. When using thin as desired with milk, cream, yogurt, fruit juice. Good on cold slaw and fruit salads.
