Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped onion (cooked briefly in the butter as it is melting)
  • 1 can cream corn
  • 2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
  • Corn flakes

Instructions

Mix everything together, except for corn flakes. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes. Stir and top with crumbled corn flakes. Bake an additional five minutes. (Can be made ahead of time and frozen.)
