Hamburger Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef 
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce 
  • ½ cup rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans water  
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Brown beef and onion.  Place in a 3-quart greased casserole with soy sauce, rice, soups, water, salt and pepper.  Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.  Sprinkle top with chow mein noodles the last 10 minutes of cooking time.  Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
