Trudy's Easy Enchilada Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 count) package corn tortillas
  • 1 (10 count) can enchilada sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef  
  • 1 cup onion, minced
  • 3 cups American cheese, grated

Instructions

Brown ground meat, drain and set aside.  Line a 1 ½-quart baking dish with tortillas.  Sprinkle with onion.  Cover with ½ meat and ½ of cheese.  Pour half of the enchilada sauce over the layers.  Repeat the procedure.  Bake in 350 degrees oven for about 15 minutes, or until cheese melts.
