Blossom Trail Cafe

What's it like?

I am usually really excited to take a drive out to BlossomTrail for breakfast. It dosent happen often, so I enjoy sitting there drinking coffee and stuffing myself with fabulous food. James and I usually drive out on the bike, but this time I decided to take my little brother and have some quality time. As we entered I saw a sign that read Under New Ownership. I dont think I like the new ownership. Though the food was decent (I had the french toast plate and my little bro has the huevos rancheros plate - which he said was a little cold) the service was not. We were seated immeidately - a plus. Our drink orders were taken quickly - coffee and a small cranberry juice. I have to interject to point out that I am a little addicted to coffee and this was the first cup I had had all morning. I needed my coffee. When I was done with my first cup, I placed the cup on the corner of the table so the refill would be easy and seemless. I tried to get the waitresses attention while she chatted with the other waitress and patrons. However, my eyeing her didnt work. So when she finally brought our food, I asked for a refill. Sure she said. She walked over to the counter and stood at the counter. She didnt go and grab the coffee, she started talking to the guy at the counter. So I got up, took my cup with me, and asked the other waitress for a refill. At this point, my waitress told the other waitress (not me who was standing right there) that she was going to get it, just give her a minute. I mean really. That was the straw the broke the camels back. 

 

I loved going out there, however, after that experience there will be no more. If I am going to drive somewhere I want good food and good service. Its a refill on coffee for goodness sake. I think next time I'll head up to Humphrey's Station. Mmmmm, Humphrey's Station. Till next time.

Hi,

I am investigating the previous owner of the Blossom Trail Cafe for the periods of 2007 and 2008. I am wondering if you had eaten in this restaurant during those years I mentioned and if you could tell me if the sales tax was collected. I appreciate your input on this.
